Booking Your Car

Availability

Of your chosen vehicle is not guaranteed. Some of the most popular vehicles are booked over a year in advance. Ensure that the car you've booked at is available and that you won't be sent a "look-a-like". Some brides and grooms don't even remember what the car looked like months before! Whether you prefer the refinement of a Rolls Royce, the charm of a vintage, the character of a convertible or the glamour of a limousine - when you find THE CAR - BOOK IT.

Payment

Usually consists of a deposit, ranging from £50-£100 or a percentage of the total cost, on booking. The balance is normally due between 2 weeks and one month before the wedding date. Payment can be made in full at the time of booking of if it helps your cash flow in regular instalments. There should be no extra cost, just ask your supplier. You should check whether your chosen supplier charges VAT and is it included in he price quoted? You probably wont be able to claim it back!

Refunds

Wedding carsAre hopefully not going to come into the equation but circumstances do change.

So at least know your suppliers policy.

  • Is your deposit refundable?

  • Is your balance refundable?

Some operators will take an administration charge before refunding. Others will refund on a sliding scale depending on how close to the wedding date cancelation is. Others may not refund because it may not be possible to rebook the car. An operator may only refund the person who booked the car or possibly just to the person who paid for the car.
